Describe a favourite childhood friend, and what you did with him or her.
I still recall clearly that when I first started going to primary school, that I really hated this friend of mine. I used to think she was bossy and irritating, but yet I used to be jealous of her. By the time the second half of the year came, I began to like her more, and we became much closer. When we became best friends, it was already the end of the year. When we returned to school to start studying primary 2, she was transferred to another class. I was very sad, and remembered bursting out in tears when I got home. For the whole of the next year I forgot about her.But when I began primary 3, fate brought us together, and we were put in the same class again. She became a prefect, a very good one in fact.Over the years we stayed in the class until primary 6. I remember talking with her alot, and following each other on our food choice. And also playing "office" in class, by piling files in front of us to look like computers. In the old premises, I remember her skiving from duty to play with me at the exercise bars. Also, i remembered making another close friend cry before. It was mostly a misunderstanding but everyone had thought that we had made her cry, and both of us got really stressed up.
Sadly, in Secondary One, even though our score margin was very small, we were placed in different classes. Over the pass few months we have distanced. But receently, that distance has been slowly patched.I wouldn't say that we were as close as we were before, but we are not as distant.(=

How do you feel about death? Tell about your philosophy of after-life.
I, for one, like he majority of people, fear death. At a certain period in this year, I was terrified, petrified about death. I was apprehensive to what would happen after death. But I have gotten over my fears and learnt to accept that at a point of life, every one would have to die. But I believe, that as long as I do my best to help others and have faith in the Lord above, death is nothing to be afraid of. But as human beings, we still fear death, which we are very vague about.
Apart from fear, death also brings sadness.Sadness to the loved ones and friends of the deceased. My grandfather passed on when I was four. Then, everything was very vague and I could not really understand. In addition I was not very close to my grandfather, thus, did not feel much of a loss. Since then,I have seen more of this kind of losses, but from a third person's perspective, not to have lost someone, or to be the loss someone. But to watch from the side of the proceedings and griefings. Recently, when I was blog-reading, I came across a blog which had entries which were talking about a loss of a close friend. I felt great sympathy for this person as I know that it would hurt alot.It would feel like the sun would never rise again and the rain would never stop falling, like tears the skies cry. I sincerely hope that none of this will happen to me as I would not know what to do at all.
Death may bring sadness and fear, but along with it, it also brings relief to some. Those terminally ill patients may long to die as they would want to end the sufferings and go to a better place where they may rest in peace.
Death can be many things, it is how you look at it. But as long as you lived a good life, there should be nothing to fear or regret.

How do you feel about dentists? Why?
I do not like going to the dentist as my teeth are often getting cavaties and everytime I go to the dentist I would have to get them patched, which by the way is not a very pleasant experience. Also I find the tube that sucks up the saliva is really uncomfortable and irritating, as I feel like it is choking me. And the light that shines down into my eyes is extrememly glaring and really annoys my eyes to the extent that I have to squint.Even though I don't really know what's going on in my mouth I find it really scary as I hear the sounds of the drilling and sucking and everything, it really freaks me out. Those are only a few of the things I don't like about the dentists.
But, recently, I have been waiting eagerly for a letter from the dentist as I am on the waiting list to get my braces done, as I have really crooked teeth.I got the letter a few weeks ago, and now I feel very apprehensive as I want to get my braces over and done with but I am very afraid of the pain that I will experience. I hope the pain would not be so excruciating and uncomfortable.Overall, Dental Clinics are really scary, but I think dentists are normal people like you and me, just given a wrong impression, because of their jobs.

How do you feel about winning? losing?
Winning. It is to
1)achieve victory or finish first in a competition.
2) achieve success in an effort or venture.
as defined by dictionary.com. Out of the two definitions I pick the latter. Winning is to achieve success in an effort or a venture. If winning is to achieve victory or to finish first in a competition, then even if you cheated, you would win.But winning without trying is pointless. There is no "kick" no satisfaction.Winning is the sensation of completion, satisfaction. So what if you come in first in every competition, what matters is you try your best.
Losing.losing is not just coming in last in a competition. It is disappointing yourself, letting yourself down. If you were to compete with scientist in a science competition, then you would have no chance of coming in anywhere near the top, but so long as you have tried, you have won.So losing isn't really that bad, depending on how much effort you have put in.
Winning and losing don't matter much, its about how hard you've tried.

Did you have a favourite subject in school? one you dreaded?
Yes!I did. My favourite subject in school is Science.Science is a very interesting subject even though it may be difficult.I enjoy doing the experiments and discovering facts about the world around us that i never knew.I also like Science as my ambition is to become a doctor, which needs a very good base in Science. This year we began studying chemistry and it is really amazing, especially the mixing of chemicals.Biology is the easiest part of Science to me, as I can process the information related to it much easily compared to the other aspects of Science.Physics is very interesting as it encompasses alot of common sense and thinking.
The subject I dreaded most and still dread is Chinese. It is in my opinion very boring and useless, as I do not intend to work in China in the future.I am also not very good at it as I do not speak or use much of this language. The method the teachers use to teach us is also very boring.
Even though I may prefer some subjects to others, I still want to do well in all of them.

what are your favourite colours, foods, flowers, activities and hobbies?
My favourite colour is green. It makes me feel fresh everytime I look at green. It is a very pleasant colour and does not burn your eyes because it is glaring.Green is also my house colour.
My favourite food is Ice-cream! I like to eat ice-cream of all kinds of different flavours and brands, but my favourite two are Haagen Dazs Strawberry Cheesecake and Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough. Both of them have very interesting and uncommon tastes. There are chunks of "pastry' in both which gives the ice-cream a very unique taste.
My favourite flower is the violet. It is simple, but also magnificently beautiful. Its simplicity makes it look like no other flower, and its colour complements its beauty even more.It is a lovely flower.
I have many hobbies, but my favourite is running.Running gives me a sense of achievement. It gives me a challenge.
